Keeping your Freedom on Lockdown
Keeping your Freedom on Lockdown
You deserve to be free in all ways, not just a few. To live the life you deserve, you must enjoy freedom in all its variations. Indeed, our physical freedom is our birthright. It is not something that should need to be earned, bought, or passed from generation to generation. It belongs to us from “Once upon a time” to “The End.” Physical freedom is important, but true freedom also means living a self-determined life, which is not easy. True freedom means creating, rather than accepting, the environment in which you live. It means refusing to stay in surroundings where you are not wanted, not loved, or not valued. It means having the capability to change your situation immediately, taking a principled stand when a principled stand is required. It means working on your own behalf for your own reasons. It means not accepting other people’s definition of how much of your time is their time and how much they will grant you to keep. You lose in that deal each time. It means being a Public Enemy when necessary, fighting the powers that be. It means not accepting anything human-made as a given. Free people know that anything human-made can be human-destroyed if necessary. True freedom is living life rather than just surviving it. Free people believe they can beat any odds, and then bet on themselves to do just that.
Those who are truly free will not accept “sometime” freedom, nor will they move for “someday” freedom. In the same way that you would not accept the right to vote in only odd-numbered years, free men and women do not accept circumstances that work against them this day in exchange for the promise of retribution at some later date. They know that those who would hold them captive this day can't be trusted to emancipate them tomorrow. Therefore, they support only those people and organizations that would have them do well at all times. Free people believe they deserve to do well, so they insist upon surrounding themselves with people who feel the same way. This is nonnegotiable. No bully is going to take their freedom like it was lunch money. They keep it on lockdown like Hannibal Lecter.
Further, those who are truly free believe that freedom delayed is freedom denied, and they’re not having it. They see too many of their peers busy dying one indignity at a time while inactivity for their gold watches, so the free get busy living. Yet, too many of us spend our entire lives working for the weekend, working for vacations, working for retirement. We spend our entire lives trying to last the bulk of our days as they want, so we can live some small portion of them as we want. People who are free in all ways believe it is their absolute right to determine their fate. They spend each day of their lives asserting that right. This is how free you need to be to be free. Yet, there is something inside too many of us that causes us to defer freedom or, worse still, to give it up altogether. Why? Freedom begins in your mind. You can't be free if your mind is not. Are you free?

Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Speech
FREEDOM OF SPEECH
By Muhammad Adeel
(truthdefender786@gmail.com)
There is a huge debate going on in the Muslim world, rather the whole world on the issue of Salman Rushdie’s book Satanic verses. The book, on the basis of which, a verdict was issued from Iran to kill him, has raised many questions in the Muslim world and in the west on issues like freedom of expression, extremism in Muslims, etc. I won’t discuss Rushdie’s book in this article which is full of blasphemous quotes, but the philosophy on the basis of which it is being justified, i.e. “Freedom of Speech”.
The first question that comes in the mind of people like me is what is this freedom of speech which the west is boasting about and why is it so unnameable in the western world. Why is it that in the guise of freedom of speech the west can state any thing to Muslims without caring about their feelings and without considering the repercussions? First let’s have a look at what Encyclopedia Encarta 2006 has to state about the definition of Freedom of Speech;
“Freedom of expression, both oral and written, from governmental prior restraint, except as such expression constitutes libel, slander, obscenity, sedition, or criminal conduct such as bribery, perjury, or incitement to riot.”
Microsoft ® Encarta ® 2006. © 1993-2005 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
I think that a mortal does not require a deep insight to reach the conclusion that no one in this world is free in the eventual sense. Everyone in this world is bound by some law which places constraints on his or her actions. Just for a trivial example, a mortal in any society is not “free” to steal, because if he does he will have to grappling justice. Everyone in the society is connected and our actions are altered by those connections. Similar is the case for the freedom to state anything one wants. We all have emotional attachment with someone and hearing an offensive argument about that mortal enrages us. Like many people will not grant any other mortal to state an offensive thing about their parents. So, in order to take care of the feelings of apiece other we have to place a constraint to our speech. Similar is the case of the Prophet (P.B.U.H). Muslims have an emotional attachment with him that can’t be defined in words. Why can’t the west place a constraint on their so called freedom of speech when it comes to the feelings of Muslims?
We Muslims are aware that freedom of speech is a part of western values and apiece nation has its own values which are sanctified by the people of that nation. But, they can’t just do any thing they want in the guise of their values. The west should also explain the hypocrisy on their part. We know that at the same time when the debate about the caricatures of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) was going on a man was convicted in Vienna for just writing that the holocaust did not take place, as writing or saying against the holocaust is considered as a crime in some European countries. Why didn’t we see uproar from the west on this issue? The west should explain this.
I think freedom to criticize is a superior phrase than freedom of speech because freedom of speech has more aspects of offence to other individuals. I believe that everyone has the right to do valid criticism of anything. This is also what a Muslim should learn because its part of the teachings of the Quran to criticize things that go against its teachings. We have examples of freedom of criticism in the history of Islam, when the caliph Umar (R.A) was criticized by an old Mohammedan on passing a legislation from which he readily retracted. The west has the right to criticize Islam, but, that should be valid. For example, if someone criticizes that the Prophet (P.B.U.H) had 11 wives than that’s valid and we Muslims have a religious obligation to answer that. But, if someone depicts the Prophet (P.B.U.H) as a terrorist, we Muslims will never tolerate that.
The west and the Muslim world should begin building bridges between apiece other. The Muslims also need to learn how to oppose against something because in many cases they really over react. Burning automobiles and buildings during protests which are the properties of people is in no way permitted in Islam. We Muslims should also realize that we ourselves devalue and belittle the sunnah of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) in our each day life. We Muslims have a religious obligation of making the west realize the importance of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) in our lives. We need to tell them that it is part of our establishment to love him and to follow him in our each day life. The Prophet (P.B.U.H) himself stated in a narration of Sahih Bukhari that no one will be a true believer unless he adores me more than his parents, his kids and the whole humanity. So the west should comprehend Islam and the Muslims before taking any step under the slogans of their values.

Thinking About Money And Financial Freedom
Thinking About Money And Financial Freedom
Reflecting on our standing in life brings us to a point where we are forced to describe our goals. For self-made millionaires, they have written off the goal of financial freedom in their lives long before other people realized its importance.
However, while others are starting to catch up on the trend of wealth creation, financial freedom is just too nonfigurative a concept without the right mental shift. Called the millionaire’s mindset, it involves a lot of different approaches to one’s lifestyle while learning financial strategies through searching for opportunities. By turning goals into reality and acting responsibly, financial freedom seems a much closer intent than before.
Yet, the philosophy of financial freedom is still too massive a concept for people to grasp. One can ask what freedom really means. Then we can search the meaning of financial freedom for apiece one of us. While financial freedom can be measured through one’s monetary standing, people do not realize that the philosophy behind financial freedom relies on our attitude towards money. In order to achieve financial freedom, we must describe our priorities which include how we look at money.
Caring for Money
The first fundamental appearance of a millionaire’s mindset is thinking that people are interested and should be interested in money. Why not? Money is a car to make your life work and to make our system go round and round. But then more people do not value money the right way. People who seem to be satisfied with the money that they have end up getting rung down in the bottom of the financial pyramid. For some, money represents your paycheck that pays your bills. These people often find an ethical standard since they don’t care for money.
However, ethics and interest and money should not be removed from apiece other. The reality is, money is a car not only to make a living, but also to make a calibre life. Learning to value money gives us a appearance that makes us responsible with our finances. Finding the equilibrise of how much money means to you is important in seeking financial freedom.
Making Money Work for You
A millionaire’s mindset always assumes that money should always work for you and not the other way around. While hard work is important, people who stop thinking and continue pounding their routine end over and over again. Hard work and struggle begets more hard work and struggle. Being a slave for money can just be the same problem for greedy people and hardworking people. The critical key however is to find ways to rise over it and make money work for you. Learning to empower yourself with the resources that you have will give you more room to help yourself and inspire others.
The Love of Money is the Root of all Evil
This is a saying that has stood for thousand of years. Until this day it stands true. Yet what is more important to believe that financial freedom is NOT love for money. Why? Freedom over money is about seeing money as a tool and a means to and end. Meanwhile, love for money is seeing money as the end. Thus, love for money continues to place you under the spell of getting more money that you become a slave for it. Remember that we can't take money. Being a slave for money is far from the concept financial freedom.
For many, money is tangible. We all see it, we all have it, and we all see it go away. For the easy minded, money is a medium to purchase what we want making it an integral tool for trading in a wealthy economy. However, a millionaire’s appearance looks at money rather differently. By putting the intent of money in our priorities and in the right balance, one can be effective in setting up financial strategies to achieve financial freedom.

What is Freedom, Really?
What is Freedom, Really?
What is freedom? What does it mean to truly be free? Is it doable to be truly free and still live by the mores of society? I argue that it is. There are those who will disagree with me. These people state that true freedom is a freedom from societal and individualized responsibility. The common way of describing this is “being healthy to do whatever I want whenever I want to do it without having to take responsibility for my actions or deal with any consequences.”
Is this possible? Sociology tells us it is not. Even the most “primitive” of peoples has norms and values that dictate how individuals interact with apiece other. While these rules and norms might not be written down on a fancy piece of parchment (like the United Says constitution), they are still how people work together and judge apiece other. Those who deviate from these norms are usually frowned at or, in extreme instances, ostracized.
So what is freedom? How do we define freedom in the western world? In the western world freedom is usually described as one’s individualized liberties—being healthy to think, feel and act without being forced to compromise who we are as individuals. In the United States, for example, we are not forced to follow a single religious doctrine. We are not forced to purchase into a single school of political thought. We are not forced to live under the rule of a dictator. We do have to live within the boundaries of our city, state and federal laws and those are few and far between. While it might seem like there are many laws, the truth is that all of those individual bills address the microscopic issues associated with larger laws: do not harm, do not steal, take responsibility for your actions.
There is also a philosophy that speaks about inner freedom. This would be a freedom of the mind. Being free, mentally means that one is healthy to reason and think logically and make decisions based on one’s own morals—and have confidence in those decisions. This is something many of us struggle with. We comprehend that our choices are finally up to us, but in the end we find ourselves looking to others for validation or inspiration from outside sources. Exercising free will is harder than we think!
The truth is that everyone is free, but not everyone has the opportunities to exert that freedom. Outside influences dictate one’s choices, but having a choice at all is freedom. Humans rarely act purely on instinct. Most of us take our mental freedom for granted, but the truth is that our capability to stop and make choices is what makes humans “civilized.” Whether one civilization concurs with the rules of another is an entirely different blog post.
This has been a long and rambling blog entry, but freedom is a massive topic—both personally and philosophically. Before we decide which direction this site should take, we thought we would take a look at the problem of freedom as a larger issue.

The 8 Fundamental Steps To Building Wealth To Create Financial Freedom
The 8 Fundamental Steps To Building Wealth To Create Financial Freedom
Building wealth is all about having a system that implements fundamental steps that once you have learned can be applied to create wealth. These steps are crucial to achieving your Financial Freedom Day.
It is never too late to build a financial surround around you and your family that nothing can get through. This would be referred to as financial security. We call it your Financial Freedom Day! It is the day when you have enough assets that pay for all your expenses now and in the future. The quicker you refer your financial freedom day the better. It does not have to be 10, 15, 20 or even 30 years down the track. It is not unrealistic to have a Freedom Day of between 3-5 years. It is the day that you can travel with your family when and where you like with no restrictions, afford the home you want, place your kids into the schools you desire and instruct your kids there are no limits.
Financial freedom is having an quality base which generates the income to not only meet your needs but to create a lifestyle that you dream of. You do not want to be relying on anyone for your financial freedom, the government, your employer, your partner, your husband, your family. Financial freedom changes your life!
So now you ask; how? How do I set a financial freedom day? How do I achieve fianancial freedom? Ask yourself At what age would you like to be financially free?
To achieve financial freedom you need a system. A proven, step-by-step, time tested system that will get you on the path to building wealth. This system
is called ‘Building Your Wealth Cycles’ comprising of 8 fundamental steps to building sustainable wealth. All entrepreneurs have a system to build wealth.
The 8 fundamental steps are as follows: -
1. Financial Conditioning
One of the first areas that must be looked at is your mindset with regards to money. Your mindset is a result of your financial conditioning, you must be aware of your conditioning and the impact it has on your potential to create wealth. You must be healthy to make the changes necessary to bring money and wealth into your life. We have been conditioned about our money beliefs from a very young age from people around us that loved us very much, like our parents, grand-parents, teachers, coaches, peer support leaders and other family and friends. They only know and comprehend what they have been taught about money from the family that raised them.
Start to think about the language that was used in the home when your were growing up. Was it “money doesn’t grow on trees” or “no, we can’t afford that” or “Do you think we have a money tree growing in the yard” or “I’ll place that away for a rainy day” or “Money isn’t everything” and finally “Money is the root of all evil”. These are just some of the beliefs that have been handed down generation to generation in countries all around the world.
We encourage you to sit down and write down some of your beliefs around money. Also, ask your kids whether they hear your limiting beliefs around money and what are they.
2. Financial Baseline
Your financial baseline is all about identifying where you are right now with your finances. You must take a look at the reality of your present financial situation. Begin today, from where you are right now. It might be a tiny scary or fearful. You can't get to where you want to go without knowing exactly where you are today. Begin asking some very basic questions like How much money do you currently earn? How much money do you spend? For how much, and to whom are you in debt? Do you have anything set aside in savings?
Just remember, what you did yesterday, last month and last year does not have be indicative of what you are capable of doing in the future. The most important thing you can do is take stock of where you are right now!
Also, how do you keep your financial records. Do you keep things in a shoe box and only empty it out once apiece year. Do you have piles and piles of paperwork everywhere. Do you have a filing system set up? If you don’t have your finances organised then you will not have a good clear picture of your financial baseline.
3. Financial Freedom Day
Millionaires always have a plan. They determine their financial goals and take action to make them happen. Your Financial freedom Day is the day when you’ve reached your financial goals. To determine when your Financial Freedom Day is you need to know what your vision is. Your vision is a picture of how you want to be living sometime in the future. In order for you to be motivated and move towards your vision it must be exciting, realistic and must never compromise your valuues. You must also excercise no limit thinking. There are 3 things you need to clarify in order to declare your Financial Freedom Day. They are your monthly cashflow, your total net worth and the day, month, and year that you want this to occur.
4. Managing Your Lifestyle Choices
Managing lifestyle is all about managing your debt levels. It is about creating a debt elimination plan that will eliminate credit card debt. There is good debt and bad debt. Bad debt is debt associated with lifestyle choices. It is where you’re using your income to increase your liabilities. Good debt is debt that is acquired through the buy of assets, assets that are then invested to produce passive income.
5. Foundation of Your Wealth Cycles
A wealth cycle is a process whereby you are paying yourself first before paying anyone and anything else. This ensures that money is being allocated to your quality column. It is something that is ongoing and the purchasing of assets does not just happen once. A wealth cycle also includes an understanding of entity structuring for the purpose of endorsement and tax. You must also make a decision about the type of investor you are whether you are active or passive. You must also develop some money rules and stick to them.
6. Acceleration fo Your Wealth Cycles
This is all about education. You must educate yourself in the areas you want to invest whether it be stocks and shares or real estate or international securities or commodoties or collectibles. Seek mentors and coaches that specialise in those areas of wealth creation.
7. Leadership of Your Wealth Team
No-one creates wealth without a team around them. No more ‘Lone Ranger’ you must surround yourself with team. Leadership of you wealth team is one of the most under-discussed areas of leading your wealth. Make no mistake, you are the leader of your wealth team, whether you realise it or not. Your job is to inspire, motivate, hold and communicate the vision to all of those on your team.
8. Creating Sustainable Action
Keep taking action apiece and apiece day. You must apiece night right out a list of revenue producing activities. You must work towards your Financial Freedom Day, apiece day. Even if they are small action steps it does not matter.
Expand your knowledge in these 8 fundamental steps through education, mentoring, coaching and acquiring specialised knowledge and it won’t take you long at all to achieve levels of wealth you never thought was possible.

Freedom Rocks is a company which combines Multi-Level-Marketing and Forex investments. The company offers members a chance to make money by recruiting other members into the program while generating returns in the FOREX (foreign exchange) market as well.
Mark Vincellette is the founder and President of Freedom Rocks. He created the original Freedom Rocks formula to trade mutual funds and stocks during the 1980s. While pursuing a career as an IT professional and management consultant, he worked on trading his individualized portfolio on the side. On July 1, 2002 he launched a program that would later become Freedom Rocks. In 2004 he altered this program so that the system could be used in the FOREX trading market.
Freedom Rocks Inc. began on Jan 1, 2005. At first, Freedom Rocks used a stock market and mutual fund trading system but it was replaced on November 1, 2005 by the current Wealth Builder (FOREX) program.
Freedom Rocks instructs its members how to use proprietary software which grants them to set up their own trading accounts (with a brokerage of their preference) to enable currency trading rather than teaching people how to trade foreign currencies.
The Freedom Rocks trading system grants members to generate revenue in three ways. The first way gives members access to the Freedom Rocks website where they can log in to their Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Allocator. Using these tools, members can learn which currency pairs are planned to trade against one another, how much money is going to be invested and how much risk the company is willing to take. This gives predetermined price points which are entered into the Freedom Rocks brokerage statement software. Accounts are then set to an “automatically trigger” setting which grants for trades to be prefabricated based on whether the member wants to purchase or sell a certain number of lots (shares) for apiece currency pair.
The second way members can make a profit is through passively collecting regular interest. Freedom Rocks earns money through the difference in interest between the currencies set by various countries’ central banks. This is referred to as “carry trade investing”. When a member sets up their portfolio the right way, they will be paid regular interest on the money that they control.
The third way to acquire money with Freedom Rocks is through leveraging. This means that for each dollar a member places in the market they can control up to 0.00 in the open currency market depending on their risk tolerance. Members can leverage up to 400%.
Before beginning with Freedom Rocks, members can practice with a demo trading account. Bonuses are also acquirable at Freedom Rocks and include a new enrollee bonus, a one time referral bonus for each new customer or Active Sales Representative a member sponsors. Other bonuses offered by Freedom Rocks are the residual bonus, matching bonus, and automobile bonus.
Freedom Rocks is now out of business. Like a lot of companies that offer this type of opportunity, they started out with the ideal of intentions, and members got paid for a long time, but eventually the bubble just burst, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it but go on to the next flavor.

I – stands for Investment.
Most schools train you in E and S quadrants and that is okay if that’s where you want to be. Also there are students that are being trained in E and B quadrant for high paying jobs for the corporate harm as an employee not as a business person.

Notions of Freedom for the Permanent Traveler
Notions of Freedom for the Permanent Traveler
PT Lifestyle is a viable and extremely rewarding lifestyle for the 21st century and beyond. PT is viable because of globalization, the World wide web and communication technologies and the resulting empowerment of the individual. It is rewarding because it highlights freedom and self-actualization. PT might be an abbreviation for post tax, perpetual or permanent travel, and positive thinker. Whatever the abbreviation of PT lifestyle – a consensus lies in the offshore nature – , paramount to its notion is freedom as the major goal in life. Freedom has manifold connotations; here are some elements of freedom for the practitioner of PT lifestyle:
- Freedom is finally a frightening concept for most people and commonly mistaken for irresponsibility. This is a complete perversion of life itself: freedom can only happen if we adopt complete and unconditional responsibility of ourselves.
- The first level of freedom to be reached is freedom ‘from’: Freedom from having to go to the same office each morning to live from hand to mouth; freedom from having to participate in the regular rat race of the average employee, freedom from having to refrain from our dreams in life due to financial restrictions. The ideal location-independent way to generate income is the Internet. Most of us will still require some cash-inflows, unless you are already financially free and can rely on investments only. Making money is a viable choice for a PT lifestyle.
- ‘Freedom from’ also has a psychological dimension: Freedom from having to participate in the worlds’ ‘aspirational consumerism’ (Noam Chomsky). Don’t think 10.000 Dollars equal the down payment for a new BMW, think 10.000 Dollars equal x amount of time to live freely. Value is given by the freedom a good provides, not by conspicuous consumption. Psychological freedom is the individualized strength to realize that there are only individuals in his world. ‘Society’ and ‘culture’ are notions to describe phenomena we are all susceptible to. ‘Zeitgeist’ defines a corridor of acceptable actions, but eventually society and culture are empty words that prevent freedom as they divert from eventual responsibility of the individual.
- Financial (physical) freedom and psychological freedom add up to ‘freedom to’ be the mortal you want to be, or as Nietzsche would say, ‘to become the mortal who you are.’ Suddenly travel does not only mean physical travel but also a spiritual quest in realizing the potential to become the ideal man (or woman for that matter) we can be. I would strongly support the notion that physical travel is a means to achieve spiritual travel.
This is where the means of a practical PT lifestyle meets its own end. With a tiny injection of hedonism and to make it more presentable PT lifestyle might as well be called digital bohemian.
Poyel Nelson enjoys an World wide web supported PT lifestyle with Thailand as a base.

Richard P. “Richie” Havens (born Jan 21, 1941) is an American folk singer and guitarist. He is ideal known for his intense rhythmic guitar style (in open tuning), soulful covers of pop and folk songs, and his opening performance at the 1969 Woodstock Festival. The Woodstock Music and Art Fair was a historic event held at Max Yasgur’s 600 acre (2.4 km²; 240 ha) farm farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18, 1969. Bethel (Sullivan County) is 43 miles (69 km) southwest of the town of Woodstock, New York, which is in adjoining Ulster County. To many, the festival exemplified the counterculture of the 1960s and the “hippie era.” Thirty-two of the best-known musicians of the day appeared during the sometimes rainy weekend. Even though attempts have been prefabricated over the years to recreate the festival, the original event has proven to be one-of-a-kind and legendary. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in music history and was listed on Rolling Stone’s 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll. The event was captured in a successful 1970 movie, Woodstock, and Joni Mitchell’s song “Woodstock”, which memorialized the event and became a major hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Financial Freedom Articles
As with just about any subject, there are many financial freedom articles all over the internet. Some of these articles seem quite interesting while others sound boring and are barely worth the time it takes to read them.
People state “it takes all kinds” and that diversity makes the world go ’round. This even applies to online financial freedom articles! An article that might not be right for one might be perfect for another.
”What Does Financial Freedom mean to you?” is one of the many financial freedom articles written by Mal Keenan. This article makes some very interesting and worthwhile points. It is totally mind-blowing how it helps pinpoint what financial freedom really is in the first place.
He says the obvious that if we are looking for something, we probably won’t find it unless we have a good description of it.
